Dr. Szentagotai este un membru senior certificat al Asociatiei Psihologilor din Romania si supervizor in psihologie clinica, consiliere cognitiv-comportamentala si psihoterapie (CBT). Ea este supervizor CBT la Albert Ellis   Institute, New York City, si vice-presedinte al Asociatiei de Psihoterapii Cognitiv-Comportamentale din Romania. Dr. Szentagotai are o expertiza seminifcativa in domeniul clinic, majoritatea cercetarilor sale centrandu-se asupra efectelor CBT in tulburarile afective si de anxietate.  Dansa a publicat in reviste cu in inalt grad de vizibilitate in domeniu, cum ar fi Journal of Affective Disorders, Behaviour Research and Therapy, Clinical Psychology Review, Journal of Clinical Psychology, or Journal of Clinical Psychiatry. Dr. Szentagotai a supervizat numeroase studii clinice randomizate privind CBT in tulburarile afective si de anxietate si a fost implicate in numeroase granturi de cercetare privind tulburarile afective (inlcuzand proiecte finantate EC).
