Dr. Boian, a former colleague of the P.I. at Cornell University, received his Ph.D.in Virtual Reality Applied in Medicine from Rutgers University, New Jersey, U.S.A. His current position is Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Sciences and Mathematics at Babes-Bolyai University.
Dr. Boian has more than 15 years of academic experience in medicine/computer science interdisciplinary research projects as well as more than 7 years of experience directly related to the present project: web-based distance learning and e-learning.
